TT-- Raise somewhere?
Villain is 30/10/1.4
I was planning on raising a non A/K turn, but once the 7 fell and I picked up a gutshot, I decided I really didn't want to get 3-bet, so I just called. Re: TT-- Raise somewhere?
I cap this preflop every time, you have plenty of equity plus position on this guy and you can possibly induce an incorrect fold postflop depending on how the board comes down.
You have to raise somewhere here. You just have too much equity against this guy. I like raising the flop as it gives you more options on the turn, and if my opponent three-bets that's fine because I don't have to worry about giving a free card since I'm in position. |

Re: TT-- Raise somewhere?
I don't mind the pre-flop play, but I would raise the flop. You'll find out more with a raised flop. Does he represent a Jack or overpair? Is he playing a flush draw? You've got position on him, use it.

Re: TT-- Raise somewhere?
If you raise the flop, are you calling down if he 3-bets? If so, are you folding any turn/river cards?

Re: TT-- Raise somewhere?
Yeah, I raise the flop. Capping helps with these situations too.

Re: TT-- Raise somewhere?
I cap preflop. Given the your flat call preflop I just call this flop and call turn. I don't like raising anywhere on the flop or turn..
