AKo, first hand of a Party 20+2
I make it 55 to go from utg +1, 1 caller in late position, blinds fold.
Flop TT4 rainbow I bet 85 into 135 pot, he calls. Turn K (making 2 diamonds) I check, he bets 15, I raise to 200, he pushes, I fold. Comments on all streets appreciated. |

I'd just have called his 15 bet on the turn. Seems suss to me.

Bet the turn. Call the push. This is the second $22 post where our heroes are treating our villains like they know what they're doing.

Oh, yeah, missed that Hero checked first. In this case I lead out, I don't go for the check raise.

Re: AKo, first hand of a Party 20+2
you're saving like t400 chips here when your'e likely ahead.
more importantly why bet if you'd fold to a push? you've committed way too many chips to fold the turn |

Re: AKo, first hand of a Party 20+2
why not check/call the turn here? our villian seems aggressive enough to keep it up until the river...

Re: AKo, first hand of a Party 20+2
Edit. I'm an idiot and totally misread OP's post, call the push. You're likely ahead.

why not check/call the turn here? our villian seems aggressive enough to keep it up until the river... [/ QUOTE ] This was exactly what I was planning on doing until he bet only 15. If he would of bet between 50 and 150, I would have simply called and attempted to get a cheap showdown, possibly inducing a river bluff as well. When he bet only 15, I felt like I was best and needed to charge him on the turn, then I probably would of checked the river had he called my turn 200. The immediate reraise allin just screamed of poorly played flopped trips to me, especially after the bet of only 15 on the turn. Am I not deep enough to fold here? I have 420 behind and lots of time to rebuild. |
