Re: J10o on the button, push here everytime?
Whats wrong with everyone? Am I'm missing something here? You have 4x BB, need the blinds, and are pushing into two similar size stacks. This seems like a very clear push. Yeah its 10+1 but at the bubble even donks tend to tighten up, unless he is a complete retard.

Re: J10o on the button, push here everytime?
It's confusing the way the HHs are written, sometimes.
The blinds are 50 and 100. You can see that where they actually put the blinds in the pot. It is a stupid carryover from limit where 100/200 are the betting limits, when the blinds are 50 and 100. To the OP, I think it is a good post because the answer is "it depends." The depending part being on how tight you read the villians to be. This villian certainly turned out to be loose. |

Re: J10o on the button, push here everytime?
I plugged it into SNGPT. If your opponents have a reasonable calling range this is a push.
66+,ATs+,AJo+ +1.0% 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+ +0.6% If they have a range that includes J9s, this is a fold. 22+,A2+,K4o+,K2s+,Q9o+,Q8s+,JTo,J9s+ -0.9% Everyone is arguing about what the "right" answer is. It depends on what calling range you put your opponents on. Obviously if they called with J9s they had a much bigger range then was proper for a push. |

Re: J10o on the button, push here everytime?
If you are playing w opponents that will call with J9s, then of course its -EV to push. However with something like 600-700 chips you really have no choice. |
