Default 3-betting AQo in EP after an UTG raise

Assuming we're in the world of $2/4, if an UTG raises and you are next to act with AQo, is this an automatic 3-bet for you? Or, does this have to be read-dependent?

Certainly Read Dependent IMO. Especially if it's coming from an UTG raiser.

At the $2/4 I remember it's as often a fold as a 3-bet, moreso when you don't have a read.
