Steal turns into draw situation 600NL 6max
Villian has 650 and I have him covered. 6max. I have a lag image. Villian hasnt done anything stupid so far.
Hero is UTG with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero raises to $24, all fold to villian (BB) who calls. Flop comes: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (pot = 51) Villian checks, Hero bets $40, Villian calls. Turn comes: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (pot = 131) Villian checks, Hero? Whats your play here? |

Re: Steal turns into draw situation 600NL 6max
Considering you raised from up front, and most opponents are likely to put you on something "good" (like AA-10s/AK/AQ/AJs/KQs), I'd check behind and take the free card.
btw- why do you think villain check-called on that drawless flop? |

Re: Steal turns into draw situation 600NL 6max
You know those times where you hate a raise, because you have outs?
This is one of those times. So you need to check behind here. Particularly since you have a LAG image -- opponent is far more likely to check/raise a bet here than to fold to one. |
