Guys, the open-limp is fine. KTs plays fine as long as we are multiway. Even in a loose aggressive game where you'll see the flop multiway for two bets, it's fine.

If you have to play it out of position short-handed, especially for two bets, then I agree, don't play it. But in the micros? Super easy limp.

Just from the action on the hand I'd think he has two pair (KJ) or a set.

By the time you get to the river your getting almost 12:1 to make a crying call.

Based on my read I'd of folded on the flop re-raise.

Brad.

1. This is def a pf limp.
2. The 3 bet on the flop signals weekness not strength. A set is very liely to call the raise and CR the turn. I could see a QQ tryin got put you off a K for sure.
3. The flop call is easy, as is the turn. The river is really read dependent. The flop pay could easily be a AQS pounding their flush draw. WIth reads I might fold the river, but arainst a random I lean towards a crying call.

Preflop: I tend to fold this UTG preflop but limping isn't too bad, I don't think.

Flop: The flop raise is good -- keep the BB honest as he could be betting a wide variety of hands, several of which you have beat (I'm thinking AJ and AQ, most often, TT and QQ less often). The 3-bet, to me, signals AK or KQ, maybe even JJ or AA. If BB is an aggressive player (looks like he is), the 3-bet may also relate to those pesky clubs on the board.

Turn: You've picked up a gutshot, but the outs you had for your ten aren't nearly as safe anymore, as they put a one-card straight on the board. That said, I think a call is fine here, getting four good outs (the queens), maybe 1 out for the king (and that feels generous), and 1.5 for the tens (I'm thinking that, if we're up against a bigger king, it's KQ half the time and AK the other half). Bottom line: I think you're often behind here.

River: Well, if the guy was pumping the flush draw, he just won. If not, I felt you were behind on the turn and you certainly didn't improve. I think folding is fine here. The BB (the PFR) has bet into two or more opponents on each street and 3-bet when raised. If he's betting anything that you beat, I'd be surprised.

Preflop is fine at typical 1/2 games, and you definately need to see the river with your hand. With the pot being fairly big, and the villain being unknown a call here is prudent, because once in 11 times you'll find an unknown overplaying QQ or AJ, or something even crazier.
