Re: I take a stand against Bluff raisers......+EV?
I don't get it... it is heads-up, calling down costs 1BB less... why would calling down be "rolling over"?

Re: I take a stand against Bluff raisers......+EV?
Anybody like a check-behind on the turn? Might give a free card to a flush draw, but given the action, there seems to be a decent chance one of them has a king. And it seems like you are pretty likely to induce a river bluff from one of these guys if you are ahead.
But given the turn bet and raise, you definitely don't want to be 3betting here. As far being afraid of looking weak, I'd emphasize what others said in terms of looking to showdown a hand rather than looking to 3bet. |

[ QUOTE ]
So your saying I'm trying to compensate for something with the turn 3 bet? [/ QUOTE ]Weh...Whowe... Three betting the turn is pointless unless this guy is an absolute donk who likely has a small pair and will call you down with it. Since he likely isn't, I call down, and you will let him know whats up at showdown. |

Re: I take a stand against Bluff raisers......+EV?
Someone mentioned checking the turn - against 1 player, I like it, but against 2 opponents I'm betting. They tend to keep each other in check. But after the SB folds, maybe BB is getting tricky.
Personally, I call it down. After the three-bet, I check behind on the river. If I find people getting tricky on the turn, and it's HU, I do a lot of checking the turn when it's scary and either calling 1 or betting the river. |
