Book recommendation for the experienced player
Hello, I play $5/10 6-max and i'm going to be moving up to $10/20 6-max in the near future, so I am looking for books that deal specifically with middle limit and advanced play. My friend recommend King Yao's "Weighing the Odds," and I need another book so I can get free shipping =) If anyone can recommend one (or more if possible!) I would appreciate it.
I own the following books: Theory of Poker Small Stakes Hold'em Hold'em for Advanced Players Middle Limit Hold'em Improve your Poker Inside the Poker Mind Psychology of Poker Poker Essays I, II, and III |

Re: Book recommendation for the experienced player
To partially answer my own question, this "Real Poker II" I just stumbled upon looks like a good book. Any others?

Re: Book recommendation for the experienced player
Yeah, I'd get that book for sure. Detailed examples of thought process from a solid player.

Re: Book recommendation for the experienced player
Real Poker II is excellent. King's book is good as well. I haven't read How Good is Your Limit Holdem?, but it's only $15, so you might as well get it.
Other than those 3, there aren't any limit holdem books worth reading at your stage of development. |

Re: Book recommendation for the experienced player
Mason said that he's giving Barry Greenstein's book a 10/10, but it's more about poker psychology and tactics from what I hear. Barry Greenstein says it should help anybody move up a level from their current level. I plan on getting this if Mason thinks so much of it.
