Ditch it on the flop. If you're behind you have little chance, one of your outs puts 3 to a flush on board. Even if an undercard falls on the turn it puts 3 to a straight on board.

I don't know if I like it here. There are lots of cards you really hate to see on the turn/river, not to mention players...

My reasoning at the time was that BB could be betting a wide range of hands that I have beat (4s, 6s, FD/SD) and that MP1 could have raised with a wide range of non-K hands. By raising I can even get him to fold QQ-99 which is obviously very good. The pot was 11SB at the time, which was way too much to fold 77 on this board... calling was clearly not an option here so raise was the only choice left.

Hardly anyone is folding QQ-99 here for 1 SB..

You only mention what BB might have/do, if you're HU with him, sure the play looks good. You have 3 others to worry about, and almost every card in the deck to worry about.

I would prefer this play if you had something like A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

i like the hand very much so. i think the raise isolates villain here more often than not, and if u got played back at you can release it. i mean, its the flop so the bets are SBs, better than BBs. and u got some more info. to boot

Not for 1SB, but for 2 99-TT is seriously considering folding with the K & FD on board and JJ-QQ will fall relatively often.

Fold the flop. You're probably behind, in which case you are drawing to two outs. On the off chance you are ahead, there are a bunch of cards that can beat you on the turn and river. Never mind that you have a preflop raiser yet to act.

If it were HU or 3-handed I could see getting aggressive with your underpair, but against four opponents, two of whom have already shown aggression, this is just spewing in the long run.

On this particular hand, you should have cut off your post at the point where you raised the flop. I would argue that many of the responses in this thread are biased by the knowledge that you succeeded in folding out the PFR and getting it HU. If MP2 had 3-bet or a couple people had called the two cold, you would be getting very different responses.
