Events 44 and 45
Having left numerous unanswered messages with the WSOP powers that be, maybe someone in the forum can straighten this out.
The $1,000 events on the 12th and 13th of July are touted as no rebuy events on Cardplayer's website. However, if your go to the wsop website and click on their structures, in the lower left they say add on event. Does anyone know what gives? Thanks! |

Re: Events 44 and 45
i think by saying "add-on" they mean these events were not part of the original schedule, but they added them on due to probable demand of the players who bust early in the ME.

Re: Events 44 and 45
I read somewhere that they are strictly cash events (no bracelet), not 100% sure though.

Re: Events 44 and 45
I finally got thru on the phone to them. They ARE bracelet events.

Re: Events 44 and 45
Thanks for that clarification. I would guess the WSOP are using the "Add On" event statement as these are new events and there is no defending title holder - nothing to do with bracelet status.
Were they able to tell you whether the entries will be capped as they are one day tournies? DesD. |
