More QQ trouble
Blinds 100/200, 62 players left out of a field of 110. Average stack about t3k. I have t6500 and other big stack at table has t7500 or so.
Short stack UTG pushes all-in, t800. Big Stack in MP reraises to t3000. CO pushes all-in for t2000. Relavent reads: UTG has been very laggy and is probably pushing any two. Big stack MP is "new" to the table and has only seen one orbit or so. No read. CO has made some real donkey moves, showing down K6s type hands. BB looks ready to muck. I have Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the SB. Hero....? Pot is about t6k. AArrrgggh! Re: More QQ trouble
i like a push here not only based on reads but also cuz i think we're beating the big stack here. if he had AA or KK, i dont think he would have reraised so much in this spot. if he has AK (which is what i think), we're getting the right odds to call-~2:1.
the only problem with this hand is that ur up against the big stack, so calling will make u OOP postflop. so the push is the only viable option besides folding, IMO. with a chance to get a huge stack, i like a push here |

Re: More QQ trouble
push due to the dumbness of the 3rd guy in. decent chance you'll lose somewhere but beat the big stack. all he did was raise a 4x push.

schwza,
what r u putting that big stack on with his reraise? or is that tough to do without any reads? |

Re: More QQ trouble
Push! Big stack is probably pushing to isolate with a wide range. The other two guys could have anything. Most likely they actually have each others outs. This is your chance to win a massive pot and become the tournament chip leader.

[/ QUOTE ] if i'm the big stack, i recognize utg is losing all FE if he pays the blinds, so utg should have a very wide range. i'm pushing 77+ / AT+ / KQ+. MP will probably be a little tighter than that, but still pretty loose. |

(I too thought MP was making an isolation raise and hoped that he had a med. PP.) BB folded and MP insta called which worried me. After the dealer sorted out all the chips in this multi sidepot hand, everyone revealed: UTG had 77. MP had A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (!) CO had KTo (!) Flop came A, J, x rainbow. Turn was another J. River was low rag. MP knocked out 3 players with his 3-outer. I asked how he could call my push with such a weak ace and he replied he was "pot-committed". Not trying for a "bad beat" story..really. Just wanted to see if this was a good push or whether a Hellmuthian laydown was in order. |

good push tough beat MP was committed pretty much. he was getting good odds on his call. [/ QUOTE ] That's what bothers me. I don't think I have any FE if MP truly considers himself committed. If we keep that in mind, I only have t100 invested with my SB. Would folding be weak? If I did, would folding face up build table image for later play? |
