Pacific Poker Cashout Problems- They won\'t give me my $20,000
I tried to cashout about $12,000 earlier this week but Pacific Poker told me that I needed to send in verifiaction documents- License, utility bill, and a signed document. I thought OK, this is customary for cashing out large amounts. So after I sent it in they told me I needed a notarized copy if I wanted to cash out more than $10,000. Which means I need to have it stamped by a lawyer. I sent my documents in about 4 different times and I have yet to receive any of my money. Has anyone else had to do this process and if so what exactly did you send in? I don't understand the concept of a notarized statement because each customer service rep are ignorant and tell me different things. That's why I had to send in my documents about 4 different times. It seems to me they don't want me to cash it out so they are telling me to send in a million different things so the money can stay in my pacific acount. If anybody had a similar experience or can help I would appreciate it.

notarized does not mean by lawyer. i am a notary public, and so are millions who sent the few pesos for the stamp. look in the yellow pages or go to a mailbox etc or western union for the notary. you don't need a lawyer. |

FYI In some states you have to be a lawyer to be a notary.
Georgia is one of those states. There are others. I used to be a mortgage broker for a nationwide firm. |

In Georgia all you have to do is fill out a basic application and get a couple of people who aren't related to you to endorse it. Heck, my buddy is a notary public. |

For $20,000, I'd fly to where they were located, present my documents in person, then write the trip off as a business expense.

MY mistake, it most be that they can't close mortgages. Or the lenders were requiring that lawyers close them.
We were NOT allowed to have a notary close a loan in Georgia.... |
