Default GSIH Strategy - Big Blind ?

I've been trying out Ed Miller's GSIH Short-stack NL Strategy. It's been fairly effective if I stay patient... very patient.
An interesting hand came up while I was on the BB tonight. I'd like to hear some advice on applying the short stack strategy in this and similar BB situations. The table had been fairly loose but nothing too crazy. No reliable reads on the players at the time.
Sorry about the format, the converter doesn't work with the site I was on. Cleaned it up as much as I could.

Sunset Boulevard 3451702-17612 Holdem No Limit $0.25/$0.50
MightyKC7 has 8c 7c
PLYR A called $0.50
1 fold
PLYR B called $0.50
4 Folds
PLYR C called $0.25
MightyKC7 checked.

Board cards [3d 3s 8d]
PLYR C checked.
MightyKC7 bet $2
(I was a little confused on how to proceed. Considered all-in here, but was unsure. Fell back on "Bet the Pot" even though it's not in the Short-stack Strat.)
PLYR A called $2
PLYR B called $2 and raised $8
PLYR C called $10 and raised $0.83 and is All-in
MightyKC7 folded.
PLYR A folded.
PLYR B called $0.83
Board cards [3d 3s 8d 8h 6h]

Should I have just folded on the flop? All-in on the flop from my position seemed too risky. Ideas?

just wondering where this short stack strategy is? Is there a book out by miller?
Is short stack 100x the Big Blind or less?

Not bad. If you're comfortable with postflop play, it's OK to occasionally try stuff like that. The strict push guideline is mostly for rank beginners so they don't have to do a lot of postflop thinking.

It's in Getting Started in Holdem. It's a 20-25xBB strategy. It's worth buying the book just for that one section IMO.

I gave a relatively concise description of the system in a post in another thread (in this same forum):
http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...14&fpart=1

However, my description is purely a functional one. It's important to understand the rationale behind the system if you want to try making it work for you. In such a case, having the book is crucial. For example, a purely functional description doesn't explain that position is primarily relevant pre-flop when you play the system. In particular, your pre-flop concern is that someone will wake up behind you with a premium hand. Since the blinds act last pre-flop, they can treated as being in late position in the system (even though they are not normally viewed this way).

Stack sizes?

Check the flop and see how the action goes. You're 4-way with poor position. You paired the top board card, great, but your kicker is worthless, any 3 has you killed, and any future card higher than an 8 scares you.

If you bet small, as you did, draws will be correct to call. If in the context of the short-stack strategy you decide to push, only better hands will call.

If the point of playing the short-stack strategy is to avoid difficult decisions post-flop, then I'd say your decision here should be check/fold. Putting more money into this hand, short of your entire stack, will entail more difficult decisions on future streets.
