Decent Card Room close to Santa Fe, NM?
Headed down to Santa Fe this weekend, and wanted to know if anyone had a recommendation for a casino nearer to Santa Fe than Sandia. I don't think I can convince the wife to drive another hour south, but might be able to convince her if there is something closer....
Thanks for the help! |

Re: Decent Card Room close to Santa Fe, NM?
Heya,
A few months back I got a list off the internet of all casinos registered in NM, then called them to find out if they had a poker room and, if so, what games they spread. Here's what I found: Casino Apache NE of Las Cruces (877) 277-5677 Hold'em: 2-4, 5-10, 10-20 Omaha/8: 2-4, 5-10, 10-20 Cities of Gold Santa Fe (800) 455-3313 Hold'em: 4-8 (½k) Omaha/8: 4-8 (½k) Live games only played after tourneys Isleta Albuquerque (877) 7-ISLETA Hold'em: 2-10 Stud: 1-5 Tournaments every day at 3:00 Sandia Albuquerque (800) 526-9366 Hold'em: 4-8 (½k), 10-20, 20-40 Omaha/8: 4-8 (½k) Stud: 1-5 Stud/8: 1-5 Santa Ana 17 miles north of Albuquerque (505) 867-0000 Hold'em: 3-6, 4-8 (½k) Omaha/8: 3-6, 4-8 (½k) Stud: 1-5 Stud/8: 1-5 T, Th-Sun Sky City 50 miles west of Albuquerque (888) SKY-CITY Hold'em: 3-5 Stud: 1-5 Th-Sun at 8 pm I can't guarantee it's accurate, but I have no reason to think the casinos lied to me.
