I had him on AK the whole time. Did I play this incorrectly, or did he just made a bad preflop raise and a lucky catch on the end?

Bet the flop, call his raise. Lead the turn for 1/2 pot, try to get your stack in there.

oh & fold preflop.

I just made a similar mistake earlier. If you think your opponent is strong, like TPTK strong, LEAD into him, so he can make mistakes. Dont let passive play give you bad beats or leave money on the table.

If the table is passive or loose enough, i'd call this in early position too. If they're passive, you'll get away with this without being raised often enough. Early callers tend to slow down the raising as well. And even if it's raised, but they're loose and it's multiway, this is still very playable.

I would lead out on the flop. If you're lucky, you'll get action, if you're not, he'll fold. Slowplaying won't make you any more money here.

Checking the turn is pretty awful, because you are giving him a free river card. If he's got a pocket pair and bet that on the flop, you're giving him a free shot at a boat on the river. If he's on a straight draw, he's even more likely to hit. Hell, there's even a runner-runner flush possible. You cannot, under any circumstances, afford to give anyone a free card on a board like this.

You bet the river. He raised you. Does a 3$ raise look like he's trying to chase you out of the pot here? Do you think he forgot about the two T's on the board? Did you miss the 8-9-10 on the board? The raise means you're beat. Even if you're not beat, the worst hand he could possibly put you on when you push is trip T's. This means that there is absolutely no way that this push is going to make you any money. Ever.

Edit: Welcome to the forums.
Edit2: i don't speak pokertracker, but i don't think any PT-read would change anything about what i just said.

... and once it's heads-up preflop, this is an easy fold
