WSOP Event #2

I registered for WSOP Event #2 a couple of hours ago. It took me 3 Hours to register. I am not exaggerating that number. If anything, it is low. As of 7pm PDT, they have 1500+ registered. I overheard they are going to take 500 alternates. I hope they get this under control soon. BTW, the room is very big.

On Live at the Bike tonight, they were saying they would be sold out tonight at 2000. A rumor from another website said they were going to have the $1500 go 3 days, but haven't announced it yet.

This the 6/03 event? I can't find the max entrants anywere listed w/100% certainty. Anyone know?

1500 NL Holdem. The first open event is sold out at 2200 people and I think a few hundred alternates. And I can say with 99% certainty that there were at least a few hundred more people who wanted to play (including myself) if not many many more.
