did they put a cap on the amount of people entering. last i heard that capped it off at 6600. Does anyone know if this is true.

i thought the main event was being capped to 2000 people. but not sure about the rest.

2200 for the other events. They will start 11 handed if they get that many entries. |

I've read that the 1st round will take 3 days- 2200 per day. Given the cap on the other events, this makes sense.

Not sure what your 11 handed source is, other than speculation. They are more likely to use alternates, judging by how every WSOP tournament and WSOP circuit tourney has gone. If you do have a good source, please let me know.

I've heard through friends that were out in Vegas they may be adding 50 tables to the main event, pushing the cap up to over 8K...
