stars .5/1 NL - flopped nuts, what now?
poker stars .5/1 NL 6max
no reads on button, he's new to table and has me covered. a few callers, around to button who calls. sb completes, i check w/ 24o and ~$60 behind. flop (~$3): A 3 5 rainbow sb checks, i check, around to button who bets $5, sb folds, i call. everyone else folds. (anyone raise here? if so how much) turn: (~$14) 6 completing rainbow i check, button bets $5, i call river: (~$25) 8 comments on all streets appreciated... thanks. |

if i were you, i would have led at the flop. you have to assume someone has an ace and they'll call you down. you might even get lucky and run into a3 or a5. as it is, having called the flop, you definitely need to raise the turn, if you make it 15 and he calls, there's 45 in the pot and all the villian has to do is call a pot sized bet on the river to double you up

Lead the flop for $2, call the raise from the button (hope for a raise to call at least) and check raise the turn. If button doesn't raise on the flop, lead again on the turn.

playing the flop passively is fine ... but you need to start building the pot at some point. i'd probably try on the turn- either by leading myself, or C/R-ing. i like leading better b/c it shows less strength.
