there are pretty much only two 15 games that go regularly in the bay area and only one 30 game. you need to adjust your sarcasm meter.

San Pablo has the worst management of any cardroom that hasn't gone out of business yet.

I haven't been to CSP in about a year, and even then the cardroom was clearly on the decline. Part of that, I think, is the prospect of slot machines coming. Still, after an evening playing cards there I didn't feel dirty and bad, which how I usually feel at the Oaks (particularly real late at night when the stuck lifers are there).

You guys are right. I really don't think San Pablo is much better at all. But, you know what they say about the lesser of two evils...

On topic: I got a call from the G.M. today, he wants to meet with me tomorrow at the Oaks to resolve the dispute. I think there's a reasonable chance they're going to do the right thing.

He sounds much more like a touchy feely boalt student than a more practical hastings student. I haven't even engaged his legal theories because they are so off the wall.

Jest if you will, I think there is a good chance that they are going to pay me and apologize.

I was being serious. I expect they will do something for you. Boomer and Hannah goofed.

For all those interested, I was compensated for the amount of money in the pot on camera at the time of the incident (~$100), and I received an apology. The Oaks upper management handled the situation well in my eyes.

Just goes to show all you naysayer's that perhaps if you are at the short end of a bad ruling, you shouldn't necessarily say to yourself "I am wasting my time.. I will never see my money again.. and give it up." In retrospect, I appreciate all of the negative comments/arguments to my post- it helped me formulate an appropriate strategy.
