Another JJ hand (level 1)
I'm interested in your preflop action here. Do you fold, call, or raise this? If you intend to play this, I would be interested in your postflop strategy. ($33 buyin)

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
What's the buy-in? At the UB $11 games, I would call this and catch a flop, fold to a reraise. Of course at UB I know the players could raise UTG with a lot of things and I also have a lot mroe chips at the start to see flops with.

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
I fold. not enough oponents to call and play for set value. ive only been at the 33s for a 100 games but it seems theres also a decent chance you are beat here.
I would push or raise at the 10s |

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
Call, see a flop. If it comes with with undercards bet the pot, fold to a reraise if you put him on an overpair based on prev play.

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
Less adventurous: If I suspected I could get HU/short-handed to the flop I would just call. Granted, if you get 3-5 way to the flop, your position is going to make JJ much more difficult to play. But as the original raiser - short on chips no less, he will be quite compelled to bet hard on most flops. Given no overs to your J on board, a T75 call might be a cheap opportunity to knock him out, and perhaps a TPTK non-believer behind. A 'safe' checked board would also set up a check-raise from a late caller sensing an opportunity to pick up a decent pot. Lol...ok, maybe not so less adventurous. But seeing a flop here for 'only' T75 does provide many opportunities. Flop an over? eh..fold, you still have plenty of life - and will have most likely contributed to a pot that will see someone to the door.

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
Well, all the JJ talk and the fact that I haven't had the chance to play for about a week has me a little unsure, but I would fold. 75 seems like just a bit too much to call here in your position and with your stack. (unless the raiser is really lag - then I reraise)

Re: Another JJ hand (level 1)
I just call and then play poker postflop (which does not necessarily mean I won't fold a T52 board if his bet is the right size.)
