Like one poster said. He should take his wife with him. Most rooms will be VERY understanding about letting a spouse/gf sit near/behind the BRAND NEW person who wants to play.
As a matter of fact my wife once sat behind me in the Monte Carlo's poker room for a couple of hours every night for 10 days. They would see me walk in, and immediately ask if she needed a drink, a chair, or a meal comp. Tell Roy to order her a frothy hot chocolate (compliments of the house) and let her watch. Maybe she would be interested in playing at some point. He should do the same when they frequent the strip club. |

I think the hitch might be the cocktail waitresses... [/ QUOTE ] Not at Foxwoods, trust me. |

Did they not read the 10th commandment?
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's chips. (Well, it doesn't really say chips, but it does say: "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet they neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.") |

[ QUOTE ]
Most women at Foxwoods wear normal everyday clothing. However, there will be a few who are wearing sexy outfits, showing cleavage and lots of skin. I guess I don't understand religous people. Why would it matter what the women are wearing? If a woman is attractive guys are going to lust after her no matter what she is wearing. [/ QUOTE ] ...or not. |

What is wrong with guarding a marriage? I too am a born-again Christian who is married and I don't plan on having an affair, divorcing, etc. So a topic like this is VERY relevant to me. It's not that I would run off w/ said cocktail waitress; it's that I would rather keep the possibility for temptation at the lowest plausibility as possible. I'm not trying to claim invincibility, but it's just not likely. What I would be most concerned with is flirtation from waitress' which would be disrespectful to my wife (whatever that may entail).
I think this post has offered some valuable information. I appreciate those who have answered the question in a serious manor. JR |

"Help him with his wife." He has the most ideal wife of all time. I would marry her sister just because of how she is. You're really shooting blanks here.

Yes, any wife who desires her husband to be faithful in mind and body has issues (?). Then again, they only live in a manner that keeps people together for life. In our culture of expecting divorce, yeah, they should definitely loosen up.

Good points, Max, and that's something I think about as well. If a man's going to lust, he's going to lust. However, the Bible does talk about not putting things before our eyes so as to make it easier for us not to lust. I mean, you put a "good man" on the beach, it's going to be tough no matter how disciplined he is IMO.
