[ QUOTE ]
I have 1000 total with the following breakdown: 200 grey/dayglow peach 200 green/dayglow pink 300 blue/yellow 300 red/imperial blue The chips in the pics have been oiled. [/ QUOTE ] Is the picture of the grey chips relatively accurate? It looks very light, and almost like a true white color as opposed to the off-white color that ASM uses as their white. |

The grey looks lighter in the pics, but it is still a very light gray, similar to the color of the background of the Internet Explorer toolbar.

Unfortunately, the Roman mold is not recessed, or not enough for labels to be applied without affecting the chips. A sample label a friend gave me resulted in a raised, slick surface that made my chips slide much too easily.
I liked the monkey cartoons! |

Looking good! What was turnaround time for the blank chips for pokerchips.com and are those 1 inch labels on there?

It took a very long time for the chips to arrive. I ordered them in early September 2004 and they didn't arrive until the end of February. They also made a mistake with the 200 green (wrong mold), but it only took them ~2 weeks to ship the correct chips after they received the defective ones. Yes, the labels are 1 inch in diameter. They fit perfectly into the recessed inlay.

I am organizing a group buy for ASM clay chips at chiptalk.net
Cathy from http://www.pokerchips.com has quoted me discounts on a group buy of ASM chips. Here are the terms: 1) Group buy is on HorseHead Mold (since I can only pick 1 mold and this seems to be everyone's favorite) with edge spots and no inlay ONLY. 2) Everyone gets to pick their own color combinations. 3) Regular retail prices are $0.50 per chip. Discounts are 10% for 10,000 chips ($0.45 each) and 20% up to 20,000 chips ($0.40 each) ordered. I want to see how much interest there are out there. I think this is a HUGE discount for so little chips ordered. |
