Re: Crackyerjacks!!
Well, villian did the old check-call/check-call/bet line. If he's a good player it means that he's probably got top pair. If he's a donk it means that he may have made 2 pair on the river. I call a donk and I raise a good player.

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
If he is loose passive, I'd say he probably hit his 2nd pair on the river, but I would still call. Would anyone fold this? I guess depends on how strong your read is.

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
I would need him to table his straight, set or 2 pr before I fold. I like the above line: Call if he's been showing any 2 card and raise if he's been showing quality hands.

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
I think straight when I see this. From the small blind people are capable of showing you anything, which is kind of scary. A 67 suited or even offsuit is not unlikely here to me. He check/calls until he hits on the river, in my opinion, however im still calling with my jacks.

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
*grunching*
Ok I would be a wuss and call it down on the river. Surely if he had a decent hand then he would have check raised it on the river, so I'm pretty certain my JJ are good, but on the thinking that if I raise and I've got him beat he'll fold, why risk the extra two bets if he reraises back. To be honest, I can't see what he could have, though would probably put him on a small pair or junk, just trying to put out a blocking bet. Let me know if my assumptions here are way out. |

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
usually when I see this, this is a bluff
with no reads I would just call, when I am suspicious about anything I raise/call. |

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
Call. Are you ahead 65% of the time? I don't think so.

Re: Crackyerjacks!!
I think this line is good. You can't do anything else... call him down. He's probably weak and fishing. When he comes alive I suspect he's got you beat.
