Default S in HORS5, Home Game Short stack question.

Here's the setup. I'm VERY shortstacked in a HORS5 game, Seven Card Stud rotation. It's getting to the point where it's an all in or fold situation on third street. I look up to see 3 cards to the heart flush in my hand, A high. I see 2 of my hearts on the other player's hands (5 players, iirc). Action is to me, and I fold. I casually mention this after the game, and one of the players REALLY berates me for it. Assume the table has say, 5-15x my stack, as a range. I claim it's a good fold. He says I'm [censored] nuts. The way I was seeing it, I pretty much would be forced to hit the flush to have a hand. 2 of my outs were already dead. 13 hearts, 3 in my hand, 2 are dead, which leaves 8 hearts left in the deck. My all in isn't likely to force anyone out, and I _think_ one of my aces was dead as well.

Any insight into the situation? My only thought is that if i go all in, and everyone calls, AND I make the flush, then I'm back in the game. But not being the studmasta™, i'm not really sure if it was a good move or not. (Incidently, 2 hands later, (still in the 7 card stud rotation) I get a 3 flush on 3rd street, no flush outs are dead, make my flush on the river, and lose to a full house. :/)

What about pairing the Ace?

How strong are the other players?

What other cards do you have?

Not that easy to say right/wrong here.
