Party has a bonus where they pay the top 200 people or so based on number of raked hands played. It starts at 3:00 and ends at midnight.
I had to clear a bonus, so I spent about 3 hours 3 and 4 tabling pl omaha at a moderate level (high enough for almost every hand to qualify for a rake). Just out of curiosity, I checked at about 6:00PM to see what my status was, the graphic said I needed to play another 600 hands to make the bottom of the top 200 people. I suspect that the average person who qualifies for the bonuses (from $50 to $200 I think) will pay about 20 times the amount of their bonus in rake. I would love to have access to Party's info on what the average person lost in order to get this silly bonus. |

Actually I believe the bonus spans across 4 days.
If you played something with a high number of raked hands anyway (say 6-max NL100+ or 5/10) over the period you'd probably have a good shot at making the top 50. Playing PL Omaha full ring is probably not the way to go. |

Not to mention people are going to be paying rake wherever they play.... free money is free money. Most of the people who qualify for this are probably winning players.

Well, for starters don't play Omaha. If you play full ring omaha you're seeing ~45 hands an hour and table, those who play short handed hold'em might very well break 100 hands per hour and table.
