While your latin kung fu is good, you must remember that "bonus" is an adjective, not a noun. Two thwacks with the ruler.

Ablative: no one really knows what the ablative case is for, so we'll skip it.

I'm pretty sure it's for protecting the sentence when it reenters the atmosphere.

It's not an adjective (and here's an easy, informal way to check), because you can't use it with the word 'very' with it.

It's not very bonus.

... so people, please stop using it in an attempt to sound sophisticated. An old-fashioned dictionary can be very useful sometimes.

Yeah. I'm with you. I tried to put a stop to this a while ago. These dorks are relentless. Free speech I guess.

I'm guessing these are the same people that love Star Trek and used to play Dungeon and Dragons for days at time......and the ones who didn't have girlfriends until their mid-20s.

Hey hotshot: I don't need to go to dictionary.com to know that bonus is an ADJECTIVE IN LATIN but is usually used as a noun in English.

Next question?
