this isn't a check-call, check-call, bet situation?

I felt it was too weak a line against someone that could be holding a BIG variety of cards. Any pocket pair...any suited ace...any two suited broadways.

I neglected to mention that he will pay off with as little as A high quite frequently.

i'm not sure if this line is widely recognized or not at this level. i'd probably call after the passive cc, cc line. the cc, cr line is much stronger line and its easier (relatively) to fold to the river raise after that line.. which i'd probably do.

i play 3/6 right now.. so 15/30 is a step up..

After your checkraise on the turn, I don't think he's expecting you to fold to a river raise. So his raise is for value, meaning I think you're beaten. It's probably okay to fold, but I might have preferred check-calling the whole way against a guy with these reads.

I like this line best. Don't give him a chance to fold something like AQ or AJ or a small pp that's drawing to 2 or 3 outs. The board is drawless and these people are usually aggressive enough to bet the whole way.
