Re: Nate\'s Preflop Tightness Quiz
Man, what happened to the cult of raise or fold?
There is an awful lot of calling going on here.... |

Re: Nate\'s Preflop Tightness Quiz
Raise or fold probably doesnt apply here, since it is clear that most of these hands arent good at the moment, but can be played because of a. postflop skill and b. multiple callers /cheap flops

Re: Nate\'s Preflop Tightness Quiz
Great quiz and already had a chance to read Nate's first post linked to below.
Some of us "old-timers" think 2+2 was better in the old days (say, three years ago). I'm not one of them - there's more great stuff and smart posters than ever. That said, the forum is so huge it's easy to overlook good stuff (plus I play more these days ). ~ Rick |

Re: Nate\'s Preflop Tightness Quiz
Using the value Nate gives each answer, the set of the most common answers results (with ~290 respondents) in a score of 197/230.
Is this result consistent with the claim that 2+2er's are too tight? When I took the quiz I got 188, and I am a VP$IP ~15% guy at microlimits. But I think my score may be higher than it should be since I was probably biased by the fact I was taking a "You're too tight" quiz. |
