Why hasn\'t there been another live final table broadcast?
Just curious. The Turning Stone broadcast last year was universally well received. Both by the poker fans and by the FSN network. I was hoping it would begin a new trend of showing live final tables but there hasn't been another one since. What is the reason for this? Is it a logistical problem? Are there plans in the works for another live broadcast?
It was a great production and amazing to watch. |

Yea, I would love it if they broadcasted the WSOP final table, live. That would be a great, annual event to watch with a group of friends and some beers.

Re: Why hasn\'t there been another live final table broadcast?
I definitely agree, I think the live broadcast was great and waas hoping that a trend would start. As for ESPN, I really doubt they'd ever do a live broadcast. Most of the poker coverage is showing preflop all in coin flops. Isn't that exciting? ESPN is a terrible network. I just wish they didn't have WSOP broadcasting rights.

ESPN's rights end with this year's event. Harrah's is in negotiations with various networks including ESPN.
