I got about 400 chips, plus 60 octagons and 20 plaques. I'm going to add a few more chips on but I'm not sure how many yet. I'll bring a few along to the game! Which night are we playing? I'll be cutting it close if it's Tuesday or Thursday but I'll get there. Also, day trip to Borgata Saturday if you are interested.

Got my 74 chip sample set in NY today. Very nice chips. I noticed that the 3 different shape of chips - round, octagonal, rectangular all had different textures. I love the texture on the $1000. Is that considered a "linen" finish? I have some regular 40mm casino chips w/ that finish. Is it possible to pick finishes when ordering regular 40mm chips?

You all are killing me. You see, the US Military is capable of deploying a large number of forces to places on the opposite side of the globe in mere days....they handle their Military Postal System much differently....

Well then, this will really kill you...

I got mine today, and they are excellent. I got a tourney set (primarily $25-$5000) and a few of the small denoms. Of course, I think the $1 & $5 are the best chips! My 30-day clock is now ticking, but I'll probably snatch up some more .25s, 1s, and 5s so my set can be a cash game set as well.

Yeah, it's gonna work out great having denoms from 25¢ for $5,000. Some people thought I was crazy, but it's really like having two sets.

Hey, since you like the $1, do you know what it says? An astute observer might notice that MY $1 chips are different than everyone else's...

Ten,

You need to get your avatar updated to include the new chips.

It's crossed my mind several times. But I have to shrink the plaque and octagon to 80x80. It'll make them look so insubstantial.

Man, I thought they were a cinch to shuffle! How many do you have? I can riffle 12 plaques, piece o' cake (i'm no expert).

I only have 10.

I didn't say I couldn't shuffle them. I just have a hard time shuffling them.

Guys must have bigger hands. On most guys I've known, these larger hands are largely wasted.

Yes, it takes a wide grasp to do it. But it feels very cool when they all fall into place. Cool sound too.

Gotta say again, those Egyptians are the coolest chips ever made! (And that's from a clay man...) Thanks Greg for sharing the design.
