Re: Cover Contest: Getting Started in Hold \'em -- Second Try
Mason, could you detail what the nuts and bolts means? I'm guessing basic fundamentals, right?

Re: Cover Contest: Getting Started in Hold \'em -- Second Try
Ok, after trying long and hard I still can't host my cover on the net. I've tried 5 image-hosting services and the same problem keeps bugging me - they all say my image has been uploaded but the preview is blank (red cross) and I can't access it at all.
Can someone please post it for me?? I'll email it. I've mailed Mason but no reply yet. |

Re: Cover Contest: Getting Started in Hold \'em -- Second Try
Hi Caruso:
You have it right. "Nuts and Bolts" just refers to basic fundamentals which are needed in a book for someone just starting out. Best wishes, Mason |

Re: Cover Contest: Getting Started in Hold \'em -- Second Try
Should I replace "hold'em 101" with "Nuts n' Bolts" or is it a lost cause....lol

It's a nice design, although not my first choice.
And then there is that left single quotation mark where there should be an apostrophe again. |

Glitch's latest submission:
I love this design. You have my vote. The fonts may need a little tweaking, but it's still great. Also, maybe it's just me, but I think "Nuts & Bolts" should be associated with something rather than just hanging out there by itself. Maybe something like, "The Nuts & Bolts of Texas Hold'em." *EDIT* Also, maybe you could find a way to work in the revolver. But this is more of a thought than a suggestion. |
