Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
Live $3/6 game last night.
There is a calling station on my left who sees every flop. The deck has been cold, but I finally get a playable hand on the button. AKx rainbow on the flop and it is checked to me. I bet and everyone folds. As I stack the chips, calling station (CS) and I have this conversation: CS: I didn't think you had AK because you didn't raise preflop. Me: Why would I raise that preflop? CS: People do some stupid things. |

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
Donald the Dealer at Foxwoods the other night said "pimpin ain't easy" when he dealt two queens on the flop. That was HILARIOUS...
Also the fact that he gets more distracted by girls who walk by than most of the guys at the table. |

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
First time I've ever seen this one. 3/6 in Tahoe. Board is AKQxx, lots of back and forth raising. One guy flips AQ, other lady flips J2o and starts jumping up and down pumping arms and saying "STRAIGHT! STRAIGHT!"
I nicely told her that straights can't wrap-around. |

Re: What are your favorite lines spoken at the table?
fishy guy at our weekly game made a comment a couple weeks ago that he had a flush draw before the flop came. Cracked me up.

Re: Will anyone read this ?
Some kid laid down AKs after there were 3 raises in front of him pf and told the guy sitting next to him while the hand was still being played. I asked about it afterwards and he said that Phil Hellmuth said that the hand isnt good after a 3-bet in front. I got a kick out of that, I wonder what he did think was good in that situation.

Re: Will anyone read this ?
One guy sits down at the 3-6 kill table I'm at. He proceeds to play EVERY pot and raise about half the time. He's on the other side of the table, and then decides he wants a seat change (for good luck I think), and ends up next to me. Anyway, he takes a couple pots and hangs around for a while, but when he loses one of his last ones just before going broke, he turns to me with a befuddled look on his face and says
"Everyone keeps calling me down with Ace high" He was tottally preplexed by it. You should have seen his face. Anyway, he left a few hands later. He said good bye and the whole table said goodbye and wished him well. lol |
