2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
What are the games like?
I'm currently 50k hands in at Party 100NL and looking for other 6max games. I don't fancy the 200 at Party for the obvious reasons. Still a bit unsure about moving up, I'm doing well 4 tabling the 100 so not sure if its worthwhile going elsewhere where the players are better (I assume?). Any thoughts are appreciated. |

they are ok.
if I were you I would play the prima 1/2 tables. 200 buy in deeper stacks, very passive play. gl to you fsuplayer |

Re: 2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
depends what you are better at. the full are extremely passive, while the 6 max are more LAG usually.
there is more $$ to be made at 6 max i think however due to more hands per hour, and slightly worse play. |

Re: 2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
I'm a big fan of 6Max. Being something of a LAG myself I don't really fancy going back to full. I'm also a bit of a simpleton and like playing shallow
Will check them out, though. Cheers. |

Re: 2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
There are only three tables. So basically the same reasons that the limit players stick to 15/30. Long waits, no table selection, and no room for the sharks to space themselves apart.

What he said.
As an aside, anyone emailed Party asking for them to at least double the number of 200NL tables? |

Re: 2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
I have, after they cut 2 of the tables (used to be 5 of em).
I was answered with what appeared to be a form letter stating that it had been done at the behest of the players. I have closed my accounts with party and empire and now play only at prima. As for the games, they change in character drastically throughout the day. there are some $100Nl tables where i won't sit and there have been days where the 5/10 blind game has been juicy as heck. since the player base there is relatively smaller, it's much easier to tell if a game is good. they're all beatable up to the 25/50. there are some very easy to spot players who frequent those games and are not to be tangled with, but 70-80% of the table is still oblivious, and so soft spots abound. W/R to party: if you want to be short, buyin for 50BB's in the 2/4 game and play it like party 200NL or whatever game you choose to play. the deepr stack make for increased earn rates in BB/100 or PTBB/100 but lower in terms of dollars and lower varaince for the better player. (the 200NL game you'll make more BB's as the BB is $2 but you'll make less $ than party's 2/4 blind 200NL game). the play is much more passive/weak/tighter. still not tight, but tighter than party by a small amount. semibluffs actually work and sets are much better on a 100BB stack. jump in, you'll like it fim |

Re: 2/4 NL 6Max at Prima?
Thanks for the thoughts fimb.
Do Prima rakeback deals exist, and if so, are there any you'd recommend? What software too? I already have accounts at Riverbelle and some others. Cheers. |
