Default When to lay down KK preflop?

I got a bad beat again in PP NL game. I hold KK in BB, button raise, I reraise, button raise it back, I push with KK. The buttons holds AA.
how would you handle this case when you hold KK? Just call the reraise? If the flop is blank, and button push, would you call ? It is my at 4th time holding KK and lose to AA. Eech time I pushed before flop.
some pro do lay down KK, but it is really hard to me to do that preflop.
thanks a lot!

What level/toughness of game are you playing at? Versus a player you have no read on in a low limit PP game... I'd push every time and make money. There you will get called by k/j offsuit many more times than AA.

the tougher the game, the more credit you should give ... but I would still push always at low limits.

On PP, the stacks are short relative to blind size.

Unless you've got a solid read and you know he's got AA, don't fold your KK.

This is a little player-dependant, but you can't live in fear of aces being against your kings, because most of the time, you'll be ahead. Of course, this applies to 50BB stacks on PP. (perhaps not NL200 though)

I can only think of about 3 times that I've folded KK pre-flop. It all depends on the texture of the game and your opponent. 3-betting before the flop and folding to a push is usually the way I play it.

Thansk very much for the input. IT was in NL 50 game. I got the other 2 times in NL 100 game at PP.
sometime it could be a little tough in NL 100 game. Antoher more reasonable question is when to lay down QQ before flop again reraise. I had big lesson on QQ too. It is a lot more easier to lay down QQ sine it has only small favor even against AK, but for NL 100 game, it is still kind of hard for me to lay down QQ befere flop.

thanks

this is a question I've always wondered about.

How deep do stacks have to get before you fold KK preflop?

how shallow do stacks have to get before you call all in preflop with QQ ?

If by PP you mean Paradise (since that's what it means in PT), then 200BB stacks are not short stacks relative to blinds.

To me, PP = Party Poker. Small stack = 50BB

Sorry if that's not what the original poster meant.

We should avoid abreviations lol.

Yes, we should, but PP=Party Poker 90% at least on here. Paradise=Paradise Poker.

KK: good for getting in preflop when you have one buyin behind. what you really want is to get up to 100BB's so you can play effective poker on all the streets, where your overlay is larger. after that, i won't get it in there preflop without AA unless he's short stacked. even AA doesn't seem to hold up as much as it should...

QQ: this is like AK, you're either slightly ahead or way behind. pitch this preflop unless you're limping into a LAG and planning a limp-raise. good for pushing all-in with one loose raiser and many loose callers, like at 100 if you're on the BB and a lag raises and gets 3 callers. push it and make it look like a steal to get called by two broadways.

But seriously, getting all-in preflop is the goal of AA and shouldn't be automatic for any hand besides it. your overlay as a good player is simply too great on later streets to be pushing marginal long-term angles preflop. AK isn't that big of a dog to KK (<2:1) wheras an overplayed AK on a non-ace board is absolutely destroyed (>4:1)
