Re: I can\'t play in Million Dollar tourney...entertaining options here...
If you are hard up I would be interested in playing that tournament. I play mostly $20 and $30 entry tourneys though, and although I've had some cashing success, haven't made a lot of final tables. Like someone said, I don't think having someone take over in the middle of the tournament is a good idea but if you have msn messenger we could play the first part 'together' until you have to leave. But, there are probably some bigger buy-in tournament players who would be more likely to do well in this event, I guess.

How about some friendly chip dumping if a fellow trout is at your table? Look for the *Official PP 1 Mil Gty* thread and see who's is at your table. If you acquire a big enough stack by the time you have to leave for the xmas party, you can give a some one a real chance to advance near bubble.

You should be repeatedly whipped on your bare buttocks for even suggesting that.

something else you may not of thought about. If you give someone access to your account, they could change your password and lock you out of your own account.

Re: I can\'t play in Million Dollar tourney...entertaining options here...
IMO, you should play. Since your thing is 3 hours after the tourney starts, if you're still in by the time you need to go, you're doing well enough that it becomes worthwhile to be late. The longer you go in the tournament, the better your excuse for being late.

But if you want to threaten me with a good time, get in line behind my wife. (Again, a joke.) If I really wanted to get flamed, I would have suggested he purchase a copy of WinHoldem and let the bot take over once he left for the party. Wouldn't that be interesting. (FYI - that too was a joke.) |

Re: I can\'t play in Million Dollar tourney...entertaining options here
You say you have more faith in a two plus twoer than one of your poker playing friends? Friends who have probably helped you out at some point in your life? Pick one who has done you a favor in the past, who you can trust, wish him a merry christmas and let him go at it. After all, you have only 20 dollars into a tourny you probably knew you wouldn't be able to play in. It'll make his month. Just an idea

I agree. I highly recommend having a friend play over someone you've never really met.
Play in another 20+2 multi with him/her watching to show him how it's done. |
