T9s UTG
table has been pretty loose, a few tight-aggressive players
Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero calls, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (6 SB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players) SB bets, BB folds, Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, MP2 raises, MP3 3-bets, SB caps, Hero calls, MP2 calls, MP3 calls. at the time, i had to count all the bets. the more i look at it, it seems like a routine call. |

Re: T9s UTG
Fold preflop, especially with TAGs playing.
Flop seems fine, you'll make the OESD 31% of the time and you're playing 3 other people. Edge might be a lot smaller due to sets/TTPs redrawing to a full house. |

Re: T9s UTG
The preflop call is OK if you're routinely getting 5-6 to the flop for a bet each.
Flop call is fine, but that is some scary action. |

Re: T9s UTG
You can calculate your EV on the flop pretty quickly. Assume that you have 33.33% pot equity here. A total of $16 went into the pot, your PE gets you $5.33 and you only had to put in $4. Therefore you made 1.33BB in EV on the flop. Easy call.

that's quick? i just add the current bets to the pot on the microsoft calculator and divide by the money i have to put in. i get a bit more than 5:1 on the call. |

Re: T9s UTG
Never fold OESDs and flush draws on the flop. You have oods to call any number of bets. Never fold them period unless the board gets real scary.
