I inteneded this to mean for poker ability but whatever. In life, the answer to question 1 is the British (excl. Welsh).

I personally think the brits suck at poker and had wondered if anyone else had thought this.

Casino's aren't big over here. Gambling is mainly done on soccer and horse-racing. Card gambling and casino gambling is (or has been) looked down upon and not really talked about in normal circles..

Compare WPT and even your celebrity poker, which have audiences and cheering (whooping!?) etc, to our equivalent, Late Night Poker, which is 8 people in a quiet room, in near darkness.....

There's something soothing about Late Night Poker though. It's dated now though and to be frank a large part of its competitors were nobodies who thought they were something special.

I take it you're Welsh, despite calling football soccer - that threw me a bit. No, it's not a dig at you. I just wanted to put a line out for someone. Nearly put the Scots. They are the worst - sweat buckets when they bluff.

Asians are probably one of the worst ethnicities at poker, but I find the British / Scandinavians particularly bad. It may just be my collective memory from Prima / VC / Paradise though.
