AA hand
10 handed 2/4 NL game.
I have $400 and button has me covered. A have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG+1 and open for $12. All fold to button who calls. Blinds both fold. Button is TAG, who seems to respect my bets but has bluffed me off a couple of pots in positon when I have checked to him. Flop: 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet $16 and he calls Turn: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, he bets $24 and I call. River: A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, he bets $44. I raise to $88. Button pushes without any hesitation. Should I call? Thoughts on all streets welcome. |

Re: AA hand
I'd find a way to bomb the river and hope he has a set and puts you on AK, or has AK and calls because it looks pretty.

Re: AA hand
The river check min raise is ugly.
Pot it, or make a raise that has actually has value. |

Re: AA hand
I think you gotta call cause he could easilly have a flopped set here
I'm pondering your turn and river check/call plan (I'm assuming you were going for a river check/call if it wasn't an ace) and I suppose it's ok. I like check-raising a lot after leading the flop with an overpair, but this particular board doesn't seem to good for it |

Re: AA hand
I easily call here and min-raises are stupid.

Re: AA hand
I fold to push without read. Many of the nits here will have the straight with that push. If he's donkin it up, easy call.
On this river, figure out how much you want to play for. I probably bet 2/3 of pot and call decent raise, but im not playing for all my money with two very possible straights out there and some tight player jams it knowing he's pushed you around earlier and may get a call. |
