Oh no!
So I built my new system the other week, with the super silent Antec Sonata Case, and this week, the fan on my 9800 pro starts buzzing like a chainsaw.
Can I lube it or what? |

Re: Oh no!
Lube it with a good dose of RMA and follow up with a quick wipe of FedEX.

Re: Oh no!
Usually fan noise is from vibrations so "lube" isn't going to do anything. Check to make sure the fan is fastened down against the card as securely as possible.

If the rest of the card works fine, I'd find a good overclocking retailer and get a fan from them. One with good CS should be able to take an order from the make/model of the card. Replacing it varies from insanely easy to uber-geek difficult. |

Re: Oh no!
One thing to check before you do all that. I had this happen to me, it was a wire that was laying on the fan when I put the case on. With the case off It didnt happen, with case on I got that sound. Might want to check that 1st.
