Re: First hand post
[ QUOTE ]
nh? could someone elaborate on why we checkraise the flop here? i wouldnt do it... [/ QUOTE ] I'd be interested to hear from the pros, but I'd do it to buy some high card Q/J outs. That is, by knocking out UTG+1 & MP2, I'd be more comfortable with my hand if a Q/J comes on the turn than if those players were still in the hand. Results oriented thinking would say that we wouldn't have folded UTG+1 and MP2 didn't need 2 bets to him to fold, but we don't know that at the time. |

Re: First hand post
I check the river. There will be at least one other person betting. Will probably just call that. If it comes back two, definately just call, not raise it.

Re: First hand post
*grunch*
what's curious here is MP3 on the turn. MP3 calls one bet, but then, when it's two more back to him, he caps it...since Hero hasn't been betting out, I'm guessing MP3 didn't expect that. so, what, is that "if it's three bets, might as well just make it four"??? UTG+1 is what's interesting here. maybe QJ also. possibly J9. but could have a set on the flop/turn and a boat by the river. MP3 has overcards maybe. |
