Re: ***The OFFICIAL who should I start FF WEEK 1 thread ***
1/10 Rush/Rec yards, 6 pts Rush/Rec TD's, with a bonus point for every 10 yards. No points per reception.
Playing: S. Jackson (@SF) Benching: D. Davis (@BUF) I was going to start Davis, as I'm extremely big on him this year, but that's one tough matchup. Jackson has a very easy matchup on the other hand, but I do worry a little bit about that pesky Faulk. For the most part, I'm dead set against benching my studs (and DD is my biggest stud), but it feels that this is a rare occasion to do it. What do you guys think? Should I leave it like this or change it back? I'm torn on this one, but leaning towards keeping it as is... Got another 12 hours to decide. |

I would like to play another RB but I all I have is Jerome Bettis (out this week) and Michael Pittman (TB). I think I will do good vs my opponent. Jackson this week and don't think twice about it. IMO I agree with your opinion on Davis. But he hasn't yet reached the "Never Bench" status that some of the elite backs have. I love Jackson this year, especially in this matchup. Who's your other back, or do you only start one? |

Re: ***The OFFICIAL who should I start FF WEEK 1 thread ***
Thanks, looks like I will stand pat. You're right about DD not being stud status yet (though he should be soon enough.) I guess Jackson gets the nod in the 2 hole this week.
My other starting RB is Tiki Barber. While I'm slighly concerned about Brandon Jacobs getting the goal line touches, I'm not overly worried. With this scoring system, Barber's capability of breaking a big one more than makes up for the concern. |
