How should I play this TT hand?
BB is new to the table so no reads.
Is it correct to raise the flop when there are 2 overcards to my pair? I figured this was a raise or fold situation. not sure what to make of BB betting pattern. BB did not 3 bet the flop but came out betting on the turn after I had raised the flop. I figured that BB was likely to have a Q or J hence my fold. Was my fold weak play? I welcome your views. Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, Hero raises, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, UTG+2 calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players) BB bets, UTG+2 folds, Hero raises, BB calls. Turn: (5.25 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) BB bets, Hero folds. Final Pot: 6.25 BB |

Re: How should I play this TT hand?
i'd do it this way.
I'm also down 27BB after 2100 hands, so take my advice as you will! Regards, Pete Harris |
