Belterra Casino
I just thought I'd pass on this email response I received from Belterra in Indiana:
"I am happy to say "yes"! Belterra Casino Resort & Spa currently has plans to add a poker room in the very near future. However at this time I can not give you an exact date. When a date is set, I am sure that it will be well advertised. I would like to thank you for your interest in Belterra, and hope to see you and your guests in the very near future. If I can answer any more questions for you, please fill free to ask. Thank You, Table Games Shift Manager Ralph Wileman" Thought maybe some of the Cincinnati area players would be intereted. |

Re: Belterra Casino
Very Interesting.
Here is the reply I got to my inquiry in January: "The thought of a poker room was brought up for this year but was put on hold because of all of the other expansions we our doing. It will be at least a year before we they would consider putting one in. We know the market is out there for a poker room in this area but unfortunately we our unable to have one at this time. Chris McDowell Table Games Manager" Beterra just completed a 3 million Hotel expansion, and the Company has a huge 100 million dollar deal for casinos in St. Louis on the table, so resources are pretty tight. I wonder how many "table game managers" they have comparing the two e-mails, or has there been turnover? Considering the market, it is stupid for them not to have a poker room. I mean, how much does it really cost to set up for poker, compared to hotel wings, and golf courses, etc.? |
