Who is the smartest overall poker player?

...and I don't just mean poker knowledge, i mean overall brainpower. Yes, Sklansky is definitely in the team photo for me, but I'd have to go with Barry Greenstein. He's ( i believe) a co-founder of symantec, the company that makes Norton software, was a savant in school, (math especially), and gets it done on the tables at the highest levels, too. When he was like 16 years old, he went to school here in Illinois, a brand new state of the art mid 70's computer was brought inby his math teacher for lab usage. BG took the manual, went in the lab, never seeing this (or any?) computer ever before, and by the next day had programmed a golf game on it...

I don't know for sure, but isn't Dutch Boyd supposed to be some kind of super-genius?

Well, boyd, DID graduate from college at like 14, but I'm not sure how smart he is otherwise. It seems to me that sometimes kids graduating from college as an early teen is as much of a product of overly eager parents as Intelligence.

Yeah, Dutch's parents couldn't wait to get rid of him. His parents were inspired by the "Revenge of the Nerds" scene where Wermser is getting dropped off at college.

Mensai is at 15/30 now? He was coaching me at the 3/6 tables a few months ago. I guess his super-intelligence has finally allowed him to move up in limits. I'd really love to meet some of these guys IRL sometime who get so angry behind the keyboard.
