Playing rags from small blind (argue with a friend)
So, Last time I had an argue with my friend (FatLoser) he posted it here and asked who was right and the first one to answer was Mason and he said I was right. So I hope I have the same "luck" again.
We have an argue and to avoid friendship-answer I will not tell whos saying what. One of us thinks its okey to complete from sb with 64o, 75o-type of hands after 4 limpers (Online play 15-30 with mostly bad players) While the other half of us says its completely wrong and folds those hands instantly. So, whos right, the folder och the caller? |

Re: Playing rags from small blind (argue with a friend)
If you posted 2/3 of the bet already and the BB isn't crazy, I'd say complete everything with 4+ limpers. You want two-pair or better to hit your major rags though.

Re: Playing rags from small blind (argue with a friend)
I think it all depends on how well you play post flop.
If you're someone that has a hard time letting go of a 7 if it hits then you probably don't want to play that hand. |

Re: Playing rags from small blind (argue with a friend)
With $85 already in the pot and just $5 to call, I call pretty much anything. Or are you talking about a different blind structure ?

I deleted this post, but probably failed...
I have posted a new one in the mid-, high-stakes ..Hmm, strange that this one still exists. Anyway, the small blind is 7$ and it costs me 8$ to call. (I have written this info on the mid-highstakes as well.)

Re: I deleted this post, but probably failed...
I say fold unless you're sure you can either out play the limpers and the BB post flop, or you can fold your hand if you smell trouble (don't get sucked in with a losing hand). I understand pot odds may be there but why throw away more money with a terrible starting hand?

Re: Playing rags from small blind (argue with a friend)
How about reading the blinds section of HEPFAP. It covers this.
