Default the only thing...

...more annoying than bad beat stories are bad beat stories put in the form of a quiz or brain teaser where im supposed to guess the cards you were bad beat by.

yes, you stumped me, i would have never guessed that the guy who called your pocket kings all-in had a straight on a board of K8653. he was KRAZZZY. you we're GENIUS! does this help anyone learn big bet poker?

But this post does. Maybe you can write up another essay about the raising wars that greek and persian players get into. That one really helped my play.

Last week was the first time i hadn't played poker naked, i got dressed and cleaned myself up so i could travel 2 hours to play in a tournment with 10 blind stacks dealing 30 hands per hour. The first flop was A A A right there and then i left but of course that has to be rigged and of course i was about to be cheated.

Not sure if your post was directed at my post or not.

Win or lose it was not a bad beat story. It was an attempt to try to get a dozen or so responses to the range of hands I might have and the types of hands they would want to call me.

not necessarily directed at you but soooo many posts are quizzes..what's the point? just post that you moved all in with a weak flush draw into a big field including a raiser on a K high board and then I can tell you it was a very bad play (regardless of results) and i dont have to do a bunch of pointless guessing. If you want to know what types of hands to move in with in that situation just ask. (the answer is none. if you gotta hand your going all the way with a check raise here is better. just think if you had a set and check you'll trap 2 all in. if you have a real "to the felt" draw like JQs youll trap 2 all in.)
