Hello:
With some people getting rake rebates every month, can the break even player still make a ton of money by playing multiple tables. A full time player playing 3 tables at 10/20 may get $1500/$2000 rake rebates from a good affiliate. On 160 hours a month is about $12 an hour. Increase to 4 or 6 tables and a break even player has a good hourly rate (>$20??). Now, let's say your are a marginal winner (0.5 BB/h). $13 + $10 (.5*$20) and you are making a good living. Do I miss something here or these rakebacks are must have for any serious player? Thanks JAque |

if you are break even at 10/20 and you play that many hours, you're a retard Move down to 5/10 and play the same amount of hours, and MAKE money playing AND get a rake rebate.
A rake rebate is a must for anyone who plays the amount of hours your talking about, regardless of the skill level. |

Hi Alobar:
I understand you point, however, the 10/20 was an example. Many times break even players do not drop levels for many reasons. One of them may be that they were losing players at the lower limits. It is possible that some people cannot beat the lower limits because they can't adjust to folding big hands when you don't hit the flop. JAque |

That's total BS. If you can't win at low limits you can't win at higher limits. |

I'm offering 10% of Prima Poker Play via this link
Given that you felt NoD were correct not to pay their players, do you think this offer should be taken seriously? Lori |

One of them may be that they were losing players at the lower limits. It is possible that some people cannot beat the lower limits because they can't adjust to folding big hands when you don't hit the flop. [/ QUOTE ] I disagree with this. I think its a common misconception among low limit players, especially losing players, that if they moved up in limits they would do better because they wouldnt get sucked out on so much. A break even 10/20 player would slaughter a low limit game. And a .5/1 low limit player isnt going to see any difference in suck outs till they moved up to at least 5/10 and there they are going to lose to the players who have more ability. So you're still better dropping limits and making money, AND getting a rake rebate. |

i agree with this sentiment. since the rake is almost as high at 5/10 as 10/20, you are much better off dropping in limit so you can win at a decent clip.
but yes, the rake rebates definitely help turn things around whether you're a winning or break even player. |

Getting rake back is extremely important. I have several 30+ hours a week players that I send about 1k back each month to. Serious players absolutely need this, especially if they are playing more than one table at once.
