bisonbison's Hand Converter

Without further ado, here's a brand new hand converter I've made, based on Slavic's basic format, but written from scratch.

It may have some bugs, but it's built to parse all real money Party HE games, No-limit and Pot-limit as well as regular old limit of all stakes. It adds the pot correctly, and it shouldn't get messed up by people sitting out.

At the moment, there's no support for tourny hands or for Party skins, though these are my top priorities. In the mid-future, I expect to add Omaha support, cause it isn't hard, and in the very very very distant future, I'd like to build a stud Hand History converter.

If you experience any problems or have any suggestions, please PM me on the board. If it's hand-specific and you don't include the hand history in question, I prolly can't help.

Nice one BisonBison, I just tested it with a few hands, including those with 3-bets and caps in, and it works excellently, pot size and everything. The only thing is it takes slightly longer than Slavic's converter to convert (for me, anyway).

But, still, it's incredible, thanks a lot for putting the time into doing this.

Well, Slavic's was written in some kind of Javascript, which I know nothing about. I think once Slavic's loads in your browser it's ready to do all the work. With this, it's done on the server side, so there's a little bit of lag as it does its thing.

It took about .2 seconds to convert for me.

JavaScript runs clientside (in your browser) while this application runs server side which means it requires the data be sent to the server, the server converts it to the proper output and then sends it back to your browser.

It's really pretty amazing how this entire process can be done in less than a second (the web in general).
