4 handed ub 80-160,
i have AJs UTG, and raise it up, folded to the BB who calls, a 2p2er but one who has seemed a bit loose and over aggro to me, i have also played with him, in this game, about 6 times this month. flop is A82r check, bet, raise, i 3 bet, he calls. turn offsuit 8 check, bet, call. river K check, I???? dave |

I'd just check. I can't really find any value in betting the river. Plus, there's an off chance he has an 8 and is looking to checkraise.
I'm sure you mix it up in this spot, but I'm more inclined to wait until the turn after his flop checkraise. It gets more value out of his bluffs, and his worse A's. |

I just check here, he's never folding an ace, I cant see him calling with a 2 here. We need to pay off a c/r if he was slowplaying an 8 on the turn.

i also check. hed have to be terrible to call your river bet and lose.

i checked in similar situation this afternoon against a 22/10 guy on a A727J board with ATs and was shown a limped 88!
i still like a check though. |
