It appears as if my verison of PT is unable to data mine. Obviously, observed HH are not saved on your PC, so how exactly does one datamine. I open up 10 tables, place PT on autoimport, and bam, nothing happens. It says its going to import 571 files which makes no sense. Im a idiot and cant figure out what to do.
Please help |

[ QUOTE ]
It appears as if my verison of PT is unable to data mine. [/ QUOTE ] It is capable of mining at Party. I think there may be a couple of other sites as well, but Party is the only place I mine. [ QUOTE ] Obviously, observed HH are not saved on your PC [/ QUOTE ] This is incorrect. Well, sort of anyway. They are saved on your computer, but they are deleted after you close Party, I believe. This is documented in the PT help, or you could just check for yourself to see which it is. I suspect you are looking in the hand history folder. That's part of the problem, since they are actually saved in the main Party Poker folder. [ QUOTE ] so how exactly does one datamine. [/ QUOTE ] Please read the PT help documents regarding auto-importing of observed hand histories. [ QUOTE ] I open up 10 tables, place PT on autoimport, and bam, nothing happens. [/ QUOTE ] You're getting there. Make sure you have configured the importing of observed hand histories. The folder you are looking in should be C:\Program Files\Party Poker\ if you installed to the default location. Also, by default, I think PT is set to "Do not import observed hand histories at this time." Uncheck that box. Otherwise, I'm not sure what to tell you. [ QUOTE ] It says its going to import 571 files which makes no sense. [/ QUOTE ] That does seem a bit odd. Where is it looking? (What folder?) I assume you've used PT before. If so, has this number climbed progressively? Make sure you have it set to move processed hand histories to a new folder. [ QUOTE ] Im a idiot and cant figure out what to do. [/ QUOTE ] The documentation included with PT is actually quite good. If you can't get it working, I suggest reading through the help files. |
